I secured my SFHEA in 2020 after working for 13 years in the HE sector. Some of the work has been part-time, full-time, as a visitor, as a researcher and even in an advisory capacity. My SFHEA application was based on two of my core interests:
- Erasmus Mundus and the experience of international students in Europe, and their TNE experience. My work with Erasmus Mundus Association and the European Commission since 2005 has been the basis of this experience.
- My projects in the area disability., with focus on accessibility and inclusivity, in particular webinars, to cater for not only less-abled students, but also non-native speakers or in general to accommodate captioning for an overall better learning experience online. My work as a Tutor at the Disability Office at the University of Reading was the underlying stone for this experiene.
